Allegany County Has New Undersheriff
Allegany County Undersheriff Kevin Monroe (pictured) stepped down in August from his position to pursue new opportunities with his family in North Carolina. “I have enjoyed my time as Undersheriff and I leave with no regrets,” noted Monroe, who prior to his role of Undersheriff was an officer for 20 years with the Wellsville, NY, Police Department, serving as patrolman, field training officer and arson investigator.
