Masks Aplenty

The Sheriffs’ Association has obtained 36,000 medical-grade masks for distribution to requesting Sheriff’s Offices across New York. The masks were manufactured for the Ford Motor Company’s Charitable Fund and made available by the Fund at no cost to at-risk populations, including police and other first responders.
An initial supply was directed to the Sheriffs’ Association by DMV Assistant Commissioner Chuck DeWeese at the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, and our GTSC Law Enforcement Liaison, Tony D’Agostino, was able to secure another large batch directly from the Ford Fund. Tony has been shipping masks to Sheriffs who have requested them, and has more on hand for Sheriffs to use in their own agencies or to distribute to organizations in need within their counties.
