Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace was recognized before the County Legislature in September along with members of his staff for their efforts in earning re-accreditation of the Civil and Court Security Divisions. Executive Director Peter Kehoe praised Undersheriff Chuck Holder; Lt. Tim Kindberg for his work with the Civil Division re-accreditation and Lt. Rich Telford, Lt. Lori Holder and Sgt. Jon Desnerck for the extra time and effort they devoted to re-accreditation of the Court Security Division. Sheriff Gerace’s office holds all four accreditations offered by the Sheriffs’ Association (the other two being corrections and emergency communications) and accreditation of the Law Enforcement  division from the NYS LEAC. Congratulations!
